Welcome to Life Without Limits, a national initiative kick–started by United Cerebral Palsy to empower people with disabilities to envision and build a better future for themselves and their community. I have dedicated my career to helping improve the lives of people with disabilities – in Congress, through leadership of Presidential Commissions, through my involvement in Presidential campaigns, and through key roles at critically important not–for–profit organizations. Now, I am thrilled to work with you to help formulate Life Without Limits — an innovative, groundbreaking, and unprecedented approach to addressing the challenges and opportunities of people with disabilities.
You may be a person with a disability, someone developing a disability, a family member or friend of either or both, a caregiver, an advocate, a supporter, or a concerned individual. Regardless, you are a part of Life Without Limits.
Life Without Limits provides a forum for open discussion where we – together as a community – help shape a new vision of the future for people with disabilities, a future that enables people with and without disabilities to live independent lives enriched by meaningful engagement and believable hope.
